When the Clever crew took our first trip to Stockholm, Sweden, we had an epic first visit. Experience Stockholm in 2 minutes.
OUR TOP 10 SPOTS IN STOCKHOLM
Stockholm’s “Old Town” (it’s been around since the 13th century) is an impressive collection of architecture, cobblestone streets, mysterious alleyways, and tourist attractions. It is also home to Sweden’s Royal Palace and The Nobel Museum.
This is maybe best brick oven pizza in Stockholm. They used a very unique mix of ingredients on their pizzas. It was a great experience, even by a New Yorker’s standards.
This restaurant has outdoor seating for delicious brunch, lunch, and dinner in the heart of Gamla stan (we ate there twice).
THE ROYAL PALACE
A grand display of architectural design from the 18th century, The Royal Palace is where you can find the offices of the King and The Royal Court of Sweden.
Yuc! served up some awesome Mexican fusion dishes. From their blue caviar taco and cool waitstaff to their surprising playlist of golden-era hip-hop, we had a great time here.
Founded in 1883, Gröna Lund is Sweden’s oldest amusement park. It’s also known for its live music concerts (Bob Marley holds their concert capacity record).
If you want to see how Swedes turn up, this is the place to be. We happened to be there on hip-hop karaoke night with our friend DJ Fatima Osman on the ones and twos. Clever’s own Ramon Ariel took to the stage and made it a night to remember!
M/S ENKÖPING – STRÖMMA FERRY
This ferry ride was a great way to see the natural landscape of Stockholm and its archipelago.
A 20-minute ferry ride will take you to Artipelag- a modern museum-styled venue offering international art, events, and an awesome buffet dining experience.
A beautifully designed bar and restaurant with an ocean view steps away from our place in Gamla stan, Mister French put the perfect finishing touch on our trip. We enjoyed our last dinner here amidst a random display of fireworks in the distance.
Since we only had 2 minutes to work with in the video, we couldn’t show you everything: BOQUERIA was our favorite dining experience. KÄK HORNSTULL had some pretty good burgers and fries. We went to a couple fun parties at STRÖMTERRASSEN at the Royal Opera House. And the most awesome party that we went to was “I’m On a Roof” at SLAKHUSET.
